Pez comenzó a pintar en 1999 en las afueras de Barcelona. Es conocido por sus murales coloridos llenos de vibración y felicidad. Empezó siendo escritor de graffiti, haciendo tags y letras en gran formato pero rápidamente creo su carácter icónico del pez sonriente. Encontró la gran sonrisa como una manera de transmitir buenas vibraciones a los transeúntes de las calles.
