The work of Laura Mora is raised as the reflection of who looks at them. Each person can see something that belongs to them when observing a work of Hers. In this sense, the concern about the construction of the "self" has been fundamental in her artistic exploration.
What does a subject observe when he looks at his reflection in a mirror and in what way do situations affect him when defining himself and the other? are interrogations that go through her work.
The series Untitled confronts the viewer with reflections of the artist. These reflections, far from being autobiographical or showing particularities of their creator, exhort the subject to a verse to himself in these metallic paintings. Although at first sight these rectangular paintings may seem like an abstract work where a different game of light and color fields is staged, each panel is presented as a mirror that offers questions about the light itself and the multiple possibilities offered by a reflection.

La obra de Laura Mora se plantea como el reflejo de quien las mira. Cada persona puede ver algo que les pertenece al observar una obra de ella. En este sentido, la inquietud sobre la construcción del “Yo” ha sido un fundamental en su exploración artística.
¿Qué observa un sujeto cuando mira su reflejo en un espejo y de qué manera esas situaciones inciden en él a la hora de definirse a sí mismo y al otro? son interrogantes que atraviesan su obra.
La serie Sin Título enfrenta al espectador con reflejos de la artista. Estos reflejos, lejos de ser autobiográficos o de mostrar particularidades de su creadora, exhortan al sujeto a verse a sí mismo en estas pinturas metalizadas. Si bien a primera vista estos cuadros rectangulares pueden parecer una obra abstracta donde se pone en escena un juego distintos campos de luz y color, cada panel se presenta como un espejo que ofrece interrogantes sobre la luz misma y las múltiples posibilidades que ofrece un reflejo.
